I got it e-mailed also and think it's great. BUT we need to get Washington to listen to US. If everyone who reads it would MAIL it to Washington to their Senators and Congressmen/women (have to be politically correct don't we?) we MIGHT make an impact on those who can DO something. But until we make Washington accountable to US, we'll NEVER get a damn thing done to change anything. They'll pat us on the head and tell us what's good for us and we'll have another tragedy and they'll do some more talking. Since the Pan Am tragedy, Congress has been being TOLD there was a possibility of terrorist attacking America, but it was brushed under the rug and NOW they act surprised that it happened. Our military has been telling them that terrorism is a problem, but THEY had social programs and foreign aide to tend to. I think it's time we asked WHY! Well, I'm asking for an accounting and I think every other American should also. But until we do, we will NOT get any answers and things will go on as usual and our military men and women will be fighting a war and dying in vain. Sorry for the tirade, but I'm mad now and think Congress should get off their collective rears and do something for America for a change and quit worrying about OTHER countries. Half the people on this MB can't afford to buy their meds, so WHY are we sending medicine to a FOREIGN country that we're bombing? I don't feel very chairitable when I can't afford to buy my meds and they're giving away MY tax money. But America is going to have to quit being lazy and make Congress accountable to US for a change also. We're going to have to take some blame for what's happening. We've LET them do as they pleased because we were too lazy to make them accountable to US. Ok, lecture over - go back to your weekend. Love ya BD
