Of people with seasonal episodes, some have them in the fall, and some in spring when the days lengthen. For some it is heat, for others cold. For me it used to be vacation time - never mind the month.But about Verapamil: higher doses HAVE been effective; it is just a matter of being able to tolerate them and that is what the doc can check for you. Some go to 960mg a day with Vera. I can go along nicely on 160, upping to 240 and occasionally 320. But then I am on oxygen, that catches most of the beasts on the hoof, so to speak and chases thenm in 10 minutes flat.Good luck with the doc!annemarie
