I know many epileptics have acute hearing. I think I read a post last year, asking about this for CH. My upper range is especially sensitive. I hear light blubs when they blow, dog whistles, and my tv can drive me nuts. Not many repairmen can hear what I hear. I wonder if this is common with us? Interesting........I hate loud anything. You're still young. Crank down the box and you may not need a hearing aid. When I hear people drive by in their piece of shit auto with an $8,000 stereo system vibrating the windows, I know that by the time they're 45 or so, they'll need to have everything cranked up as their hearing will be shot. Of course, I can't make them understand this, because kids less than 25 are immortal. If it initially hurts your ears, it's bad for you. You can tell I'm a real PITA about this. Thanks for the reply J. Get some mufflers.Charlie
