If things are as stated in these post, I have been missinformed, I heard the pleas from Sue, I can see a drug user from miles away Mr. Pool and the alcohol and the fighting get you all deeper into a hole that has Chance at the bottom, act like adults and take it to task in the court system, I've had to the very same thing for my Grandchildren and will have to again, I love Paul and Sue and know some of their problems but Mr. Pool I only know you from an old picture posted to the clusterhead board, I saw an old burn out like myself, maybe you have also changed but face your demons and remember the prize in this all is Chances future, how can he grow into a productive and healthy person with all this toxin around him?
Please, think about your next steps as they will directly impact the rest of his life, children learn by example, so far it sounds like he getting it's ok to hit women,drink,fight,do drugs, lie and hurt each other? Just from an outside view think about the Prize! stop being selfish for yourselves and do the right thing for each of you, I suggest a mediator to begin with then counseling for all of you to regain control and respect. Most important issue is a childs learning how to deal with issues that he has no control over and it is very hard for them, My 14 month old Grandson went through the same sort of experiences, it took me 3 years to erase the fear from his little mind!
