While it is not as effective as Imitrex, it's worth a try because of the much lower cost.
The key to success is to take it at the very earliest sign of an attack--not waiting until there is any development.
It can also be used to prevent attacks. This has been helpful for people who have night time CH or, in my case, when I am working in the summer months and get heated (commonly triggering a CH).
There are reports of circulatory problems but this comes from excessive use--what constitutes abusive use.
It is the only drug I have used in which the expiration date is important. It loses it potency with age so pay attention.
