I dont know if this is going to be of help to anyone but its worth a try. My husband works for Met and recently he got me appointed with a healthcare company that provides non-insurance healthcare (up to 80% savings) in all areas of care including prescriptions.
I know from reading the board for a while that prescriptions are your biggest expenses, anyway, this company offers a program for $9.95 a month in which you join RESTAT, a prescription network, and then pay 15% under wholesale for all of your prescriptions. If you can give me the names of your most commonly used prescriptions, and what you usually pay, and the city you live in, I will call the company and see how much you could be saving through this program and get back with you individually. The savings could be significant and well worth the $9.95 a month.
For those with no insurance at all there is a 54.95 program which covers the whole family on physicians, hospitals, dental, vision, prescriptions, alternative care etc. Pre-existing conditions are allowed. I would have mentioned this a while back but I just got my approval to market this plan and I'm really excited about it, I'm sure it can save big $$$ for you on your prescrips.
