I have been a Cluster headache sufferer from the age of 20. I am now 54 years old. The headaches occurd every 14 months and would last for 2 - 3 months. I sought help from Dental, Neurology, radiology and various other specialists and alternative therapists. I also tried all sorts of tablets, sprays and even oxygen, yet nothing seemed to take the pain away or delay the headaches arrival….
Until last year when I started to suffer from panic attacks (at the time the Cluster headaches were due!) I visited my doctor who prescribed me 10 mg Paroxetine daily. I was told that the tablets would correct the chemical imbalance in my brain. I have now gone over 2 years without a Cluster Headache for the first time in 30+ years. Hopefully Paroxetine will work for you.
P.S.
I still take a tablet each day.
