I wanted to tell all who suffer from cluster headaches
about this...My husband sufferes from CH's and has for many years.I have taken him to many different doctor's
since we have been married trying to find something to help him.His headaches start the last 2 weeks of July
and go through October every year.This cycle when he told me he couldn't take it anymore,I found a doctor who specializes in pain management(you can often find
pain management clinic's in hospitals).This doctor put
him on the following medicines...EFFEXOR,TOPAMAX,
ZANAFLEX and HYDROCODONE.I know this seems like alot of drugs and I admit the first few days he walked around like a zombie,it took 2 days for the medicine to start working he had 2 days of headaches that were not as intense and they didn't last long about 20 minutes.He has been headache free ever since.I'm not saying this medicine will work for everyone,but it's worth a try if it stops the pain of cluster attacks.
