Hi all - just found this site. I believe I may have CH, although I have only been treated in the past for sinusitis. I just turned 36, my first attacks began when I was about 27. I usually begin to get the headaches in late fall/early winter (around the holidays) every year, but did not get them last year. This year I began to get them in late September and had an awful time last night. My headaches are intense pain around or behind my right eye and usually includes a stopped up right nostril. When really bad I will feel real hot, sweaty, and get the chills and nausea. My poor wife feels terrible during these times, helpless and scared. Needless to say, I hate it too. I have never been prescribed anything other than antibiotics for a sinus infection and decongestant. I wasn't sure if those things helped or the attacks went away by themselves. I like to drink beer socially, but during these times it seems to trigger headaches, though at these times it seems like a lot of things trigger them. Not positive what I have, but cluster seems to fit mostly. But I never have smoked, which seems to be common among sufferers, so I'm not sure. Glad to have found this site, thanks for listening!
