yes, oxygen is one of the more popular abortives used here. More and more docs are now prescribing it for clusters (as opposed to, say, five years ago when they didn't 'believe' it helped).
Some folks here (ourselves included) use welders' oxygen, also with good results. Much cheaper and usually pretty easy to get from a welders' supply house. (I called the poison control centre before my hubby tried his welding oxygen and the biggest risk using it is not using a proper mask to inhale it, that the risk of tearing lung tissue is there if you don't.)
In a pinch, you can also go to your local firehall and use their oxygen. But it might be a good idea to introduce yourself ahead of time and ask them if they mind if you arrive in the midst of an attack, when you probably won't be able to explain why you need it.
