I used to get my attacks about 3 months out of the year and always in the fall. The first ones I can remember were around my mid 20's and I am now 34. However the last couple years I have not suffered any major attacks on the medication. What has happened is I start getting mild attacks during the night. I immediatly start taking the medication and continue for the next 3 months.
Again, my attacks only occur in the fall. I just started taking the medication again which is what made me look for more information on CH and find this web site.
According to my doctor, in heavier doses, it is used to treat depression.
If you, like me, only suffer them in certain times of the year this IS worth looking into.
