(Hub's probably gonna have fun with this one, but...)
We've got some local people here in Calgary (and surrounding areas) doing what they're calling "Albertans Ride for America". They left Calgary Tuesday morning on horseback and are stopping in all our small towns in Alberta, collecting for the relief fund. They will ride to the Montana border where 100 Montana horsemen will meet them to accept the donation.
This morning, they are in Claresholm, (about 3 hours south by car) and so far, they've raised $40,000! As they ride through each small town, more riders are joining them. I think they started out with 50 riders here on Tuesday, and they're now up to 125 folks.
Yeeeee-hawww!
:)
