In an emotional day for me...Piera from Italy called and left a message saying Italy had 3 minutes of silence for America today touching my heart. I had called from work to check my messages and heard this...It has truly amazed me how all the countries have rallied behind America during this tragedy. This afternoon at our Drug Rehab, we had a Prayer Meeting as the President requested of the American people. During the National Anthem, you could hear grown men weeping. We have alot of Vietnam vets there. There was not a dry eye in the room. This has been a very emotional few days for me as it has been for everyone else...I have realized just how proud I am to be an American. I have also realized how much I have taken for granted..it is so easy to get busy in this world and forget that not everyone has the freedom and all the privelidges that we have here in America...It is sad that sometimes it takes a tragedy to open our eyes and make us more grateful for what we do have. I know today, I am grateful that God has blessed us with all He has and I will be more mindful of this in the future. I love all of you guys in this family and you are all in my prayers daily. Thanks for everything you have done for me and all the love you have shown me. I have never known anything like this besides the love of my immediate family and I am truly grateful for it...You people are a tremendous part of my life now and forever. smiles, nancyc
