She so much wants to have a Dr. near home...but if this cycle does not break soon, I know this would be the best thing for her as they really have more CH experience/knowledge/etc. than anyone else in this area. I'm sure you know how controlling CH are and how 'superstitious' they can make someone...changing diet, changing brands of coffee, stopping vitamins or supplements, starting vitamins or supplements, changing sleep patterns, afraid to sleep, afraid to contact a specialized clinic because then you are 'giving in' and accepting that you may have CH for more than a short time...I have not experienced it, but I have seen it all with my wife. It is terrifying and frustrating to see what she is like when it hits an '8' or a '9'...and I know that she is able to remain calm, up to a point, but ultimately the exhaustion starts to set in from lack of sleep and the loss of energy. I know the best thing I can do is to let her be alone when she needs to be alone and then be there to talk when she is ready.
It is frustrating and difficult for her as well as we watch the coverage of the attack in NY and realize the suffering that has been inflicted upon so many innocent lives...we both feel so powerless to help, and yet it consumes most waking hours away from work right now. We have to force ourselves to take time away for seclusion and reflection and prayer.
I pray that you and your family are safe and well now, and I thank you for your concern and your help.
