Like in everything that has happened in the past few days, I am not sure what to say. I never have been at such a loss for words. I am so shocked and hurt. I remember viet nam and my brother going and coming back. He was and is to this day a different man. I miss the innocent boy he was when he left. He is now a man who doesn't talk and drounds himself in alcohol. He is forever lost. I think about how my children will live such a different life than that I had imagined now. We all will. But my chidren as sad as they are, are open to the changes that must be made if they are to be safe. I guess it's us old timers who know what has been lost and will never return to the same again, that know deep in there hearts the changes that this will bring. The safety we knew for all of us is now not such a reality anymore. I am sorry I have gone on and on. I just wanted you to know that even though I have not any answers, that I am here listening to you my freind and that you may talk all you want. Love to you and peace to your soul Pappy. Love Paula
