The punkin' is still in-tact. Thought I had things planned well when I went back to work last Thursday. Figured two days of work and then two days off to recover before jumping back into a full work week. EXCEPT we ended up having an "exercise" this weekend and worked normal shifts, so the plan backfired. No biggie I guess.
Everything seems to be doing well after the surgery. I fatigue easily and take lots of naps, but am feeling just fine. Scar is almost healed and you can hardly see it now. Before long it will be completely transparent. Keeping the noggin' shaved cause everyone seems to like it this way and it's starting to 'grow' on me (pardon the pun). Still no feeling back in my left arm/hand. They don't expect it to come back. The surgery was to prevent further damage, not to correct damage already done. That's ok cause it could have/should have been A LOT WORSE. I was VERY fortunate I only lost feeling in a couple of fingers and part of my forearm.
Thank you again to everyone for all of the thoughts and prayers. I wouldn't be where I am today without them!
Jonny, I was going to argue with you yesterday about who's board it was, but was tired and decided to take a nap instead! LOL Here's to smackin' your wrists for not playing nice!
