Oxy-Contin is pure Oxycodone in a time released format, I take 40mg every 12 hrs. and If you have been on the board for any time at all you know that I am very well informed about anything that I take and anything I have ever taken, I know the risk and the dangers of both the addiction and the possibality of being robbed, I keep all medication in my house in a huge Brinks Safe that has double combonations as well as keys required to open it.
I do my research before I ever take the first dose and believe me I take it exactly as prescribed, knowing I have addictive tendancies is one of the reasons I went completely
Drug Free over 10 years ago, but now I am Feeling like a fool for suffering so badly for so long when this has been out there and I wouldn't take it because of the base medication it is!
I'm living a new life, 7 average attacks a day for 30+ years and now it's like I've been reborne, I haven't been knocked to my knee's with the severe liver cramps that the advancing Hep C was causing for a few months now either.
Donna you know exactly what your talking about as it has become one of the worst abused street drugs around, second only to Heroin! Thank God for our prescription plan through the Walgreens drug store where my wife works! Pappy
