If anyone has had luck getting on disability due to
cluster headaches please write to us and let us know
how long it took to achieve this. We are also
including our shoe box of meds that Tim has tried
with no success. If anyone has any suggestions we are
willing to listen. Tim had a few attacks about ten
years ago then they stopped but suddenly in Oct 2000
they came back worse than ever and have been non-stop
since then. Here's the list of med's he has tried or
is on: Depakote, Compazine, Indocin, Verapamil, Inderal, Temazepam,
Prednisone, Vioxx, Topamax, Midrin(kind of works),
Zomig, Toprol, Gabitril, Spastrin, Amitriptyline,
Stadol nasal, Imitrex injections(currently on), oxygen
(currently on),and Seroquel(currently on). Need any???
If we didn't need a degree we'd all be doctors and
nurses by now. Humor, the best medicine!!! Also, in a
recent visit to the ER, a new doctor tried injecting
Lidocaine in Tim's nose on the side of the ch. It
seemed to work and it has no side effects!!! We are
in contact with our headache doctor to get this in nasal
form to try at home. Has anyone else had any luck with this?
Praying for a PF night. Tim & Laurie
