Well, I'm so glad I found this board. About six years ago, I met my husband and he suffered from SEVERE headaches every now and again. Usually , they cnme on every two months, one or two a day for a week. I MADE him see a doctor (he hates doctors) and the doctor told him "Seems like Cluster Headaches, I suffer from them myself and there's really nothing to do about them." He came home with a prescription that he couldn't take on the job (he's a chef) because it whacked him out. He'd rater deal with the pain that be doped- which seems silly since most of you know hom much pain he was actually in. Anyway, he stopped cooking and went into the computer business and the headaches stopped, don't know why. He's still in the computer business, but they've just come back- after four years. We find that valium are helpful, as far as sleep is concernered. Any other tips? God, I hope they figure this thing out for all of you sufferers- it's awful to watch the one you love go throgh this,
