My favorite ER doctor to work with has left us to start his own FREE clinic in Nashville. He is very knowledgeable about CH and its treatment. I'm gonna miss him at work but I know his heart is in the right place.

Sumner Co. Doctor Opens Free Clinic
There's good news for those of you who can't afford to see a doctor. A Hendersonville physician has decided to make a contribution to society with a free clinic.
After practicing medicine for 25 years, Dr. Leroy Barden and his wife Eva decided to fulfill a life long dream. They've opened up a free medical clinic.
"You know we go to church, we read our bible we are told to serve the poor, you know, we are told to help and we all want to do it, you know we always have our little reasons to hold back. Well, I guess I just laid aside the reasons," said Dr. Barden.
Dr. Barden, along with two full time volunteers, can treat patients with a number of illnesses. Most of the equipment in this facility is from Dr. Barden's personal practice or donated by residents in the community .
The Haven clinic is located at 127 Haven Street in Hendersonville. To make an appointment, call (615) 822-4096.
They are open Monday thru Friday from 9 to 5. You can also call if you're interested in volunteering or making a donation to the facility.
