I know that may sound ridiculous to you, but putting an ice bag on the back of your neck can help you stay a little calmer during the attack.
Also, if you can get some oxygen at the onset of an attack, it can help you to abort the headache. You'll need to tell us a little more, I think, so we can help. What meds are you on? How long are your attacks lasting, etc.
