most insurance companies around Wisconsin make you go to one of there clinics or hospitals (which of course is in the imediate area). If you are traveling outside of the area and it is an emergency and you need to be seen it is not a problem. Go where ever you have to to get help. Otherwise to go outside your area or to a different clinic you must be pre approved and it must be justified. Also not all medical procedures are covered. My guess is that one is still experimental. So for my policy that would not be covered by the insurancy. If it is an old method I want done but cant have done locally, say like DJ's situation, then I need preaproval and off I go.
