That's a great percentage thus far! However most surgery envolving the brain usually has an ever growing amount of fatalities. Brain surgery is one of the most risk taking ventures one can take.
I'm a chronic sufferer of CH...but I have TN kicking it in...I would live with excruciating pain, which I do, before I would let someone drill or cut my skull. At least I can controll the pain somewhat through my pain management clinic...I can't control a surgery, especially one as delicate as one on the brain...I have had clusterheadaches for almost 3 years without a break...never having short ones...minimum of three hours...with a record breaking longy of 25 hours...still I would not risk that type of surgery. Anyone should be advised of the risk. To me it's more like 4 lucky people didn't die.
