I've read through both your posts and I hope I can see both sides. The problem with posting, and all forms of written communication is that it is SO easy to misinterpret what another person is trying to say. Body language plays a vital part of the way we communicate with each other and without this our moods and opinions can greatly influence what we read from some one elses writing, in the same way that the mood and opinions of the author will influence what they have written.
I didn't interpret what Ree had written as an attack on anyone considering suicide, and I didn't interpret what August had written as an attack on Ree. I read two posts from people who are trying to help others in the best way they know how. As Ree said, none of us are psychologists (to the best of my knowledge), we just do our best.
I know both of you do everything you can to help people on this board, and hope that you both continue to do so.
I respect you both, and hope that you continue to respect each other.
