This message board is just one page of the entire website. I really don't understand why a doctor would use this page as the first stopping place, because there is so much more information contained on the other pages. This is the lobby, the meeting room, for sufferers and their families. How many doctors do you know that hang out in waiting rooms? Think about it.
Some of us know each other pretty well and feel like we have been through the war together. So, when we see someone stepping out of line, we do defend each other.
I really can't understand why all the focus on only the posts that grouse and groan, when there is so so SO much love and support here, for the most part. If someone arrives here saying they've reached the end of their rope, there is always, repeat ALWAYS, a helping hand extended and that person is readily welcomed into the family. Why isn't anyone noticing THAT aspect of the message board?
And, just a reminder...when someone (for example, a doctor) types in www.clusterheadaches.com, this page ISN'T the first page they arrive at! It's just one of those buttons on the left. I would think the doctor would pick the Medical Info, the Cluster Quiz, the Cluster Survey, the Medications, the Headache Links or, more hopefully, the OUCH website before they would pick the button for the message board.
I just don't get it.
