Thanks for the great post, Mary. You are right: it is important to have such people as Dr.Kudrow work on solutions to Cluster Headaches. Having said that --and this is mainly for Dr.Kudrow and his colleagues-- the reason this site exists and is as active as it is, is the medical profession's --which includes Dr.Kudrow-- inability to come up with a consistently effective relief let alone a cure for Cluster Headaches. To put it bluntly, our site is what is because we are frustrated by the state of the art of the medical profession, and by the attitude towards and ignorance of Cluster Headaches displayed by so many health care professionals.
Rather than form a negative opinion of our site, health care professionals who specialize in the treatement of Cluster Headaches would answer their calling best by referring to our dispositions, as expressed here, in their attempt to gain an insight into our desperation and need of their expertise.
