Since 1996 I have been through Hell. After trying almost every beta blocker and treatment on the market I have been
put on something that works EVERYDAY. The Chronic Pain Clinic here put me on twice daily Oxicontin tablets. The change has
been incredible. I know it can be habit forming but I would rather be an addict than continue with those headaches.
The long term plan is to back off this drug after it has worked for a while, but for the first time in 5 years I have gone 2 weeks
without a monster headache.
I posted a message on this board about 2 months ago and I was e-mailed a link to a herbal site from someone who could only have gotten my
e-mail from this board (I recently changed ISP providers) I IMMEDIATELY responded with a nasty reply and told her
I was reporting to her to Hotmail, which she was using to promote the site. As a spokesperson on the site she is likely paid a fee for referrals
Microsoft pulled her ID with 24 hours. If you get spammed off of posting on this board I would suggest you take it up with their ISP.
On the upside I have had dozens of supportive e-mails from fellow sufferers and I will continue to read & post as I assume my current relief is short term.
