Warren and I ended up at the ER in Jubilee Hospital in Victoria this past Sunday, and have to say that Warren got excellent treatment there. They took him right in and got him on oxygen, while I got forms filled out. Once the O2 had stopped the CH, we were talking to the nurse and Warren showed her his OUCH membership card. She thought at first that it was a joke, but we told her about it, and then she photocopied it to show others. We told her we would send her some pamphlets about OUCH, so she gave us an addressed envelope. The doctor was just as interested - said he had a colleague with CH, who kept a small bottle of oxygen under his desk at all times. He was willing to do whatever Warren wanted to help. Also, an intern came by and asked Warren to tell him everything he could about the headaches - he was very interested in what happens when he gets one. We told them about this website, and they wrote it down to hand out to patients. So...a few more people can find us and get help now. It was very nice to get such excellent treatment too.
