My experience is the same as Bob's. Maybe some people produce more endorphins than others when under certain kinds of stress. Physical stress (e.g. running, surfing, etc.) also apparently has an effect on clusters for the same reason. However, I really don't think there's any direct cause and effect relationship between clusters and stress per se, except that, as Dave indicated, CH can be a very stressful condition.
