When you scroll over the buttons on the left side of the this message board page, do the little round balls on the very left of the buttons change color? If not, you don't have JAVA enabled.
Update your browser to a current edition or go to 'tools', internet options, advanced (explorer) and enable the JIT compiler for virtual machines enabled.
