I am 6'-8",270 lbs,in good shape and was reduced to a babbiling,worn-out,nervious wreck by the worst attack I have had in 18 years.Got to the point that they were coming every 4 to 6 hours and lasted for 2 months.Everything I used to abort them was becoming less effective.About 4 weeks ago I started taking 40 mg.Prednisone(steriod) and it broke the cycle in about 4 days.I believe it might have worked sooner if I had started at a higher dose.I began tapering off them after about a week and now down to 10 mg a day and the headaches have not returned.I learned about this stuff from this site and talked my doctor into letting me try it.Good luck and quit thinking about those damn guns.
