I get so sick of well intentioned but badly misinformed people telling clusterheads how to use O2 I could scream. Yes, jonny and Paco a right and the flowrate should be 8 to 10 l/m as a starting point. Some of us run it higher and some can get by with a lower rate. If your sis has the proper non-rebreathing mask, it will have a bag attached to it. The bag should almost completely deflate when inhaling and completely fill when exhaling. There should be no way outside air could get into the mask (my last mask had a port that was always open; I taped it closed). There is a maximum time that one should use O2 in any session and that is usually stated as 20 minutes. For me, 5 to 10 minutes works most of the time and if it doesn't abort in 20, it aint gonna.
