Hi all,
This is my first post, so I'll give a brief history. I first got clusters (only in the summer) when I was in my early twenties. Then they went into complete remission for 10 years and have now come back for the first time this summer. At first it was only once a week and not too severe, but last week I started getting them daily.
I saw the doctor on Tuesday and she put me on Imitrex. The week went straight to hell after that. What was only once nightly, became two or three times a day, more intense, and the majority of the day I have shadows.
I forgot my meds when I went to work today and around lunch I had the worst one of my life. In retrospect, I think I should have went to the ER.
Has anyone had this experience with Imitrex? When I went to the nurse practioner today, she gave some samples of the nasal spray because the tablets just aren't fast enough.
From reading a little of this site, I think some of you guys have the day I have had every day! How do you do it? I can do 45 minutes a night, but I'm not sure about this multiple-during-the-day crap!
