To make sure that you have enough left over to dose again in 5-7 days if necessary.
The first dose (depending on it's strength) often merelt alters the severity, frequecy, and pattern of the headaches. Sometimes it even seems to do so for the worse! In the event that this happens then a second dose is required.
I just learned this first hand.
