I am a 30 year daily migraine sufferer who was misdiagnosed about 6 months ago with clusterheadaches - I came here and found out that what I had was not CH and the more I read the more I realized that not only was there a pain out there worse than mine but these people are ignored by the medical community. I know you hurt, but you have to understand that their pain is so bad that they can't be still and they bang their heads because it feels better than what they are feeling! Can you imagine banging your head with a migraine? I know for me it would only make it worse. Well, they are already there X 10.
People with migraines get all the research and you won't find one doctor out there who doesn't know what migraines are, that's why they get bent out of shape when we come here. Getting to know these people has made me see that it could be so much worse and yet they don't whine. Go to any migraine discussion board, as I have, and you will see alot of people feeling sorry for themselves, sad but true. Yes, we do hurt but we have support. I can't help it, I admire everyone on this site, even jonny! LOL There's nothing wrong with someone defending their family, and CH.com is family.
