Dave and I were on a first date at a concert and he got the first cluster that I witnessed. It was horrible I didnt know what to do. I had the same reaction as your son... You are doing the best that you can. You are going on with your life. I think that the attempt to take him to Six Flags was a brave venture on your part and in the middle of a cycle, I commend you. You are a wonderful mom and sooner (I hope) or later the beast will see that your not going to deal with this anymore and just go away. You need to believe it will end. Good luck and God Bless Ree
