Shot a lot of trex into my thigh before my angioplasty in 96. Of course, the docs refused to write anymore scripts. I went back into cycle while in the hospital, and had to call in a neuro before they would give me oxygen at 9 lpm. I still had a couple of shots stashed, and when a Kip-8 woke me at home at 2 AM, I stumbled into the bathroom and stabbed my leg without any qualms. Four minutes later--as always--the pain went away. I used the second shot when I had to a couple days later. Since then, it's been O2, ice bags, hot sauce and dents in the drywall. If I were in cycle right now and got attacked, if Imitrex was available, I would shoot my old tired leg in a heartbeat, so to speak. All that said, anyone with high cholesterol taking Imitrex should ask for a stress test to find out if their vessels are clogged. My arteries are in better shape now and my cholesterol levels are fine, but I know I'll never be able to get script for Imitrex again. But I also know that if the thing gets on me bad, and if O2 and other tricks quit working, and 'shrooms don't work--I'll damn sure find some Imitrex somewhere. I might even have to invite Riccardo to bring some kisses to Luray.
