Trust me, I've urged my hubby to try them all. He is so patient with me and has tried everything I have offered him. Here's a partial list that the poor guy suffered through and still got attacks....
garlic (natural infection fighter - when we thought it was sinus....all it did was rot his gut)
echinacea (figuring it would boost his immune system)
feverfew (migraine herb that you have to take forEVER before it kicks in, but didn't ever touch his clusters)
goldenseal (for infection - didn't make a difference, just upset his tummy)
acidopholus (to fight candida - it actually did help him reduce the sinus congestion and thus, lessen the pain of the next attack.)
mustard powder (I made him actually snort this stuff. All it did was burn the hell out of his nose and make him sneeze which made the h/a worse)
Nice supporter I am, huh? Poor guy.
The only 'natural' treatment we've found that WORKS is shrooms. Today is 23 months of remission because of them!!!
Please have your mom read this and tell her to email me if I can help at all. Just don't let her give you mustard powder, ok? :)
