Hi Gizi,
Yup, it does make sense to me.
MSG is a food additive that is a huge trigger for me.
MSG: mono-sodium-glutamate, or E621 in Europe, it's a 'flavour enhancer' or even worse: 'flavour refiner' as if it has to do with fine cooking *grin*
I'll add immediately that though some others also mention MSG as a trigger, the majority of clusterheads seem to have no problem with it!
In my case I dance much more per day ( or night ) for 24 .. 36 hours after ingesting a certain amount.
I think that finding food triggers is tricky. I got a clear clue after an evening with lots of chinese food followed by a horrible night and day. Since I knew that chinese food is often loaded with MSG, it was easy to find the culpritt and I started avoiding it.
But if you don't pay attention to it, you'll ingest it nearly every day. Ruling out *every* substance in your diet would be quite some work :)
From what i've seen on this board, food in most cases doesn't trigger CH, but as always, there are exceptions to rules.
If you have any "edible triggers" I hope you'll find them soon!
Good luck,
Henk
