An update on shrooms from me as well. What you write sounds a little similar to my experiences with the mushroom treatment. I started with the shrooms now nearly two months ago. In the beginning I tried a low dose and had no relief. After 5 days I took somewhat about 3 grams (dried) and it worked for about two weeks. Than the attacks came back. From than on I use the mushrooms nearly every week. It helps. I am more or less pain free. Sometimes I get an attack because of drinking alcohol and sometimes because of to much sunlight. But if I compare my life with before the mushroom treatment, this is heaven. (Till now!!!)
I was chronic with a minimum of two attacks per day, mostly three or more. I used Imitrex (Imigran in Holland), 360 mgs Verapamil per day and O2. Now I only use sometimes (if I get hit bad) the Imitrex.
I have sometimes a minor attack once in two or three days, always some shadows to remember me that the beast is still there. I tried a bigger dose once, but I didn’t like that (5 grams dried mushrooms) and it didn’t work better.
My only bad feelings are that when I use the shrooms to much, that one day it doesn’t work anymore. Besides that, the people around me get confused because granddad (50 years) is becoming a junky.
I hope you give it some more time.
