Clusterheads are coming out of the woodwork in support of Adam… and at this point, nearly $500.00 dollars has been pledged, and paypals are starting to come in as well. This little fellow, confined to a wheelchair, with a mind that’s sharp as a tack, can’t walk, and he can’t talk, but he’s got the mind of a typical 15 year old… I don’t know if that’s good or bad… I’m glad I’m not 15… I guess my point is that while he has these physical disabilities, he’s a 15 year old kid, with the same sort of interests that most 15 year olds have, an above average intelligence, but he’s stuck observing life sitting down, and having people wait on him hand and foot, and he can’t do a thing about it… stuck in a hospital, bored out of his wits. It does my heart good to know that we’ve come together as a family and sent him the present of all presents from seemingly total strangers. I just wish we could do more… skip that next beer, or that next pack of smokes, or that next bag of oreos, or pint of Haagen-Dazs, and overlook that single act of self-indulgence and drop a dollar or two into the fund… Adam’s fund… you won’t regret it, and it’ll put a smile on a young kid's face that you couldn’t chisel off with a jack-hammer; not that we'd want to... oh never mind... dig deep folks.
