I've been to the ER once in an ambulance.....fell at work with one and they called the EMT's. They gave me O2 on the stretcher on the way to the vehicle....unfortunately, this time that did not help at all. When I got to the ER, they took me right in and looked at my BP reading from the EMT and immediately had to give me a shot of morphine cuz my BP was at stroke level.....no fun.
Anyway, you're right about the immediate attention thing. If you have coverage (which I did at the time) don't now...it's a great idea.
By the way....does anyone else have major BP probs during an attack?
