Real quick like. I humbly suggest that you look into some of Edgar Cayce's books. They contain many amazingly effective dietary suggestions for someone with GI problems and many other homeopathic remedies which may help Adam a bit. Of course, it's up to you.
Not to be presumptuous, but, for starters, prune juice and other natural laxative type foods come to mind. And castor oil rubbed into his abdominal region with a heating pad applied every once in awhile may help too. Could not hurt, bro.
