My CH's started when I was fifteen and preparing for my mock GCSE's (the exams we take at the end of secondarry school). My doc tried me on everything the pharmacict had (practically) and I even went through a period of cutting out cheese, chocolate, coffee, etc.
When it was suggested I try accupuncture I jumped at the chance - anything to get rid of the pain. The acupuncturist told me not to worry and that only one in ten thousand people are extremely susseptible to acupuncture. I am that one. I had a needle in my head, one in the bridge of my nose, one in my chest and one in each wrist and ankle. I left feeling the same and waited for a result. Now, acupuncture is supposed to slowly drain the system of "badness" (for want of a better word), that night my system was flushed. I spent 24 hours in the most agonising torture I have ever experienced (before or since). At one stage my mother thought I was going to die!
Fortunately, after the 24 hours, I was fine and thought all was well for the future. Unfurtunately, the cycle started again in the summer and has every summer and winter since (I'm now 22).
Main point (finally): Give it a try - it might work for you and did stop the cycle for me but I'm not willing to go through that experience again. Take the worst Demon attack you've ever had and multiply it by about fifty then you're on the right track.
