Uh...just to set things straight, that last post was not by me.
I think the poster intended the message be direected toward myself and other Topamax users.
Strange thing is, last night, I came to the board to post again about Topamax, but got hit with an attack and couldn't finish post. I'm hoping to finish this, as I'm in great pain now, and I just got off the mask 15 minutes ago! It seems I'm getting 15 to 30 minute breaks inbetween attacks for the last 2 days. Siezures are gone, I think. New reactions. Strange ones.
Very panicky, that's not so strange, but still collapse and wail about. In fear on hurting myself or wife, I try to wedge myself under something and hold on. Dumbass me ...somehow I managed to wedge myself under a sofa bed!Problem was, I had no strenght left to lift it off me at 3:00 in the AM. I carry a whistle around my neck to wake the wife in emergencies, but not enough energy to blow more than one blast at a time without another 3 minutes O2! I banged on the tank with a wrench ... still she could not hear me. finally with a phone I keep on the floor I called my mothers house and told her to call our house. My wife can hear a phone anywhere! And she did. Once she found me, she got one leg out, and plopped on the couch, not knowing my other leg was really wedged way back up there in the metal springs! Kinda funny now, cptin my heads killin me and I got to hurry this post.
But, reactions to Topamax are changing, frighteningly so, I'm almost thinking of straps!
Can't just stop the sttuff, have to ease offf!
