Hello again everyone, (Groan, groan)
Sorry, Sim. I'm just playing with everyone (the groan thing). I guess I just like to joke around a little. :)
But, the whole excersize thing was suggested to me as well when I first asked for help on this site. It sounded kind of nuts to me at first. I mean, hey, my friggin head HURTS man! What the heck would I want to do that for?
However, I did try it and it DOES seem to help some. I was surprised. It did not really make it hurt any worse while excersizing (In my case, push-ups) Then again that's not saying a whole lot. You could probably wack me with a ball-peen hammer when I am CH'n and it wouldn't hurt much worse :) or so it seems. Within a few minutes, it did ease the stabbing pains a little, for a few minutes. I seem to have particularily stubborn ones from what I have gleaned on this site anyway. Their like the energizer bunny. They just keep going and going and... You get the picture. Sigh.
Also, I have noticed before that when I am having a bad CH and I force myself to go surfing, the CH actually totally disappears while I am out in the water! At first, I attributed this to a kind of pyschosomatic kind of thing. You know, I really like surfing so, walla!, my headaches goes away. It had me wondering about the whole CH thing. Physical or pyschological causes/triggers?
It's too bad that the surf has been virtually flat here for almost two months. Or I'd probably brave the sharks and try to catch some waves at around 2 or 3 in the morning! Those sharks ain't never come across a good 'ol southern boy with a mean-ass headache and an attitude to match!
Nah, I reckon those sharks can have the night. :)
Well, I am glad to hear you say that you have found something that works. Good luck with them (The CH's)
