i also get panic attacks, but don't think they are related to the ch. that's just a guess. Mine got really bad this past year but i think they may be do to lupron, which i am taking for an unrelated problem. the doctor gave me paxil but i had a total freak out on it and huge dialated pupils. i've decided to go the herbal route and i've been taking kava kava. it seems to be working ok. whatever you do, don't take kava kava w/ xanax. i read that can put you in a coma.
