Damn good question Clint!

Every time an episode would end, I would *feel*, I
would *know*, "I'm never gonna get these again!" Then
I would go a year or year-and-a-half without them,
and never really think about them.

After many episodes over a twenty year period, I
began to think, "gee, this is about at the end of
the remission period ..." but I mainly carried on
my particular lifestyle as if nothing was wrong.
However, I *never* go anywhere - especially on the
road - without a stash of imitrex in its many forms,
"just in case."

The hard part is pyschological: do you dare do
things in your life where a headache would be most
inconvenient, things you think might trigger a CH?
You'll know best whether or not you are in remission.
When you feel you are, then go for it. The hard part
is having the "what if" doubts. But get enought time
to pass in which you are HA-free, and these issues
should take care of themselves.

Many many folks here project the attitude of "don't
give up" and "keep fighting". I think that's really
good advice, especially - if you are lucky enough -
for during the remission period.

You need to get confidence that they are over.
At least for now. Then prepare as best you can.
Then take on the world anew! Go for it, whatever
it is. Especially, go for those things you feel
you were prevented from doing while you were in
the episode.

Kick the world's ass! And know that you have
support among your CH kindred.
