I'm sure sorry to hear what you're going through. Cluster pain, from what I understand is more facial, in the sinus and eye and jaw area. And the attacks usually last from 20 minutes to 2 or 3 hours. I sure hope it's not clusters for both your sakes.
But keep digging, you are your husband's best defense and biggest research tool. Never give up and don't be afraid to change docs until you find one who knows his/her stuff.
