You didn't mention tearing of the eye or swelling. How does he act when the pain hits? Does he react to noise or light? What meds has he been given? Have you asked your doctor about Clusters?
The one thing we all understand is the flustration of not being able to be diagnosed correctly and the ignorance of our disease, but sometimes we are a hard bunch to diagnose.
